Let’s be honest, unless your head is geared for numbers, data analysis can seem pretty boring. From the start of this project, it was clear that we needed to make the data representation fun and accessible to reach and entertain a wider audience.

What We Did

Digital Platforms

For this project, data was collected from the Gauteng City-Region Observatory (GCRO) quality of life 2015 survey. League Digital created an interactive animated environment to represent the data. Design inspiration was born from a village concept and to make it more “real”, the League team created a modern collection of landmarks in Gauteng surrounding a central, public square. Beautiful embellishments and “tourist hotspots” make the world fun to explore and attempts to pull users in to learn more about Gauteng.
