The League Digital team has worked with DStv over approximately 20 years.

What We Did

Digital Platforms
Digital Marketing

Seeing that we were more than capable of handling the DStv side of things, MultiChoice approached us to modernise its corporate site to make it more robust and efficient to enable reporting and to grow a database. This gave us a solid foundation to build a campaign around.

We were then tasked with adding a careers section to the site that would focus on talent acquisition and promoting opportunities.

The League Digital team took a holistic approach to deliver on these objectives by combining platform development work with digital marketing initiatives. We developed tactics and elements needed to support marketing and platform initiatives while keeping deliverables in line with the style and theme of the MultiChoice Group website.

With each client, we initiate a “gameplan” with key individuals in the business to identify the correct mix of digital marketing, content, design and development services, and platform support services to help drive engagement.

From the game plan, the marketing team created a campaign to promote the brand and encourage consumers to engage with it. Influencers from various profile categories who are aligned with MultiChoice (employees, past employees, etc.) were recruited to participate in the campaign. The content created is educational and focuses on what MultiChoice has to offer, its services and its vision for the future. All messaging had to be positive and entice talented individuals to further investigate MultiChoice career opportunities.

The MultiChoice writer conducted in-depth interviews with select employees to create spotlight blogs. We believe each employee has a story to tell and our writer spent a considerable amount of time at MultiChoice discovering the most important ones.

In terms of design, the colours and shape of the page echo the fan of the MultiChoice logo. This visually represents the diversity of the company. The design icons that separate jobs into categories give the page a youthful appeal. The use of a fair amount of white space and touches of the rainbow colour create breathing space. The right amount of vibrant colour creates interest, while not being overpowering.
